Queensland University Scholarships: What's in it for You?

Science International Scholarship:

  • - Scholarship Value:$3,000 
  • - Payment of scholarships is conditional on scholarship recipients meeting the obligations outlined above, as applicable, at the payment date. 
  • - UQ will pay the scholarship winners after the academic census date in the first semester of study. 
  • - UQ will deposit the scholarship funds into each recipient's nominated Australian bank account.

UQ Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship:

Eligibility Criteria: 

  •  - You must achieve a minimum ATAR of 99.90 (or equivalent). 
  •  - Completed Year 12 in 2023 or 2022 (if you're on a gap year). 
  •  - You should be either an Australian citizen, Australian Permanent Humanitarian Visa Holder, Australian Permanent Resident, New Zealand Citizen, or an international student who is completing or has completed Years 11 and 12 in Australia. 
  •  - You should not have completed any previous tertiary study other than as part of your Year 11–12 studies (e.g., Enhanced Studies Program). 
  •  - You must have applied for a tertiary place through QTAC and have UQ listed as your 1st QTAC preference as of 18 December 2023. 
  •  - You should be intending to enroll as a full-time student in a UQ undergraduate program in 2024.

Science International Scholarship:

  •  Lodge an official UQ undergraduate or postgraduate program directly to The University of Queensland [here]. - Receive a UQ Student ID Number and an offer.
